Why Integrate with Salesforce Marketing Cloud

With Smart Recognition integration with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, you can:

  1. Automatically send contacts collected from your Smart Recognition script into your chosen Salesforce Marketing Cloud list. 
  2. Automatically suppress existing contacts in your Salesforce Marketing Cloud account.
  3. May allow for set up of custom filters to sync filters; send leads from different domains to different lists or ESPs. (Functionality may vary depending upon the ESP.)

What You Need to Have

1. You will need your Client ID, REST Base URI, and Client Secret. To find these, first click on your user icon, and then click “Setup”.

2.  On the left side of your screen, in the navigation column, click the “Apps” tab, and then click “Installed Packages”. Then, in the upper right-hand corner, click on “New” button.

3. Name your package and give it a Description, and then click the “Save” button.

4. Click on the “Add Component” button.

5. Select “API Integration”, and click the “Next” button.

6. Select “Server-to-Server”, and then click the “Next” button.

7. In the “Contacts” section, check both the “Read” and “Write” boxes under both “Audiences” and “List and Subscribers”. Then under the “Data” section, check both the “Read” and “Write” boxes under “Data Extensions”. Then click the “Save” button.

8. Then you should find your Client ID, REST Base URI, and Client Secret.


9. Create the Data Extension Name you’d like to sync your contacts in SalesForce Marketing Cloud with.
